Rare Fine 16th-17th C. German Saxon Swept-hilt Rapier Sword with Lovely Steel Hilt Retaining Most of its Original Blued Finish & Scarce Pattern Braid Wire Grip. Double-edged Hexagonal Section Blade Well Marked to Ricasso with a Crown & Other Markings, Short Fullers with Inscriptions to both sides. Together with rare leather and silver engraved sheath!  Total length (inside scabbard if present): 47 3/4", Blade length: 41 1/4".
