This is an original German 1930s Adolf Hitler Supporter Donation Badge, issued as part of the Winterhilfswerk (W.H.W.) charitable program. The W.H.W. (Winterhilfswerk / Winter Help Work) was an annual nationwide donation drive organized by the N.S.-Volkswohlfahrt (National Socialist People’s Welfare), during which members of various NSDAP organizations solicited public contributions and rewarded donors with officially issued lapel badges. This example is a certified, early-period piece.

The badge is a 30mm diameter, cast aluminum example with a silver wash finish, featuring a profile portrait of Adolf Hitler on the obverse with the designation of “Deutschlands Führer.” The portrait relief remains clear and well defined, making this a visually strong representative of early Third Reich-era civic propaganda and fundraising material. The reverse is fitted with a horizontal pin-back device, typical of early W.H.W. issue badges.
