This extremely rare German WW2 TENO (Technische Nothilfe) Deputy Chief Senior Officer Command Flag / Trumpet Banner is double-sided with exceptional historical significance. The silver eagle and fringe indicate this as a flag of the highest TENO commander, Deputy Chief Erich Hampe. The front features a German national eagle clutching a swastika in its talons, with the TENO cogwheel emblem over the center of the swastika, framed by a thick gold border and elaborate silver fringe work. The reverse side carries a large black swastika with the TENO symbol over the center, both sides stitched over a deep blue background.

Teno, or Technische Nothilfe, was a technical emergency relief organization within the Reich, typically using black and silver icons. The flag is crafted with silver bullion wire, machine and hand embroidered on cotton and blue silk, and has silver twisted bullion wire fringe around the edge. Three reinforced gold bullion straps at the top allow for attachment to a pole or trumpet.

This museum-quality piece is incredibly rare, and you will not find another one like it! As truly unique opportunity to own a piece of WWII, or more specifically, Third Reich history this item carries a reserve.

Provenance: The Late Clyde Davis Collection - as seen in Military Advisor Magazine 2024 – Clyde R. Davis was an avid German WW2 Collector specializing in Hitler Youth memorabilia.

Dimensions: Approx. 12" H x 17" W
