This German Steiff Golden Brown Teddy Bear, model 0155/32, is a collectible replica inspired by an original 1904 Steiff teddy bear. Its classic golden-brown coloring and traditional teddy bear design pay tribute to Steiff’s early toy-making heritage. This special piece retains its tag for the Margaret Woodbury Strong Museum, adding an interesting historical connection for teddy bear enthusiasts and Steiff collectors.
The bear includes its maker’s label and Steiff ear button and is signed underfoot. With its connection to an early Steiff design and its distinctive identifying details, this teddy bear makes a wonderful addition to a collection of German toys, historic teddy bear replicas, and Steiff memorabilia.
