Feuerschutzpolizei (Fire Protection Police) NCO visor cap constructed of navy-blue doeskin wool with a black velvet center band and red wool truppenfarbe piping along both edges. The front retains its original three-piece national tri-color cockade and die-stamped aluminum police eagle, both securely mounted and undamaged. The leather chinstrap remains supple and intact, while the black lacquered Vulcan fiber visor shows light surface scratching.
On June 17, 1936, Heinrich Himmler was appointed Chief of the German Police within the Interior Ministry, consolidating control over all police organizations, including the Feuerschutzpolizei. This restructuring led to standardized uniforms across all German police forces.
