German WW2 Luftwaffe Gefreiter Fliegerbluse with Pilot Observer Badge & Droop-Tail Eagle

This outstanding German World War II Luftwaffe Gefreiter Fliegerbluse is a highly attractive and well-preserved wartime uniform jacket retaining an excellent arrangement of Luftwaffe insignia. The tunic features the classic dark blue-gray wool body with a droop-tail Luftwaffe breast eagle positioned on the right breast, yellow-piped shoulder boards, yellow collar tabs with two aluminum gulls, a Gefreiter sleeve chevron, and a cloth Luftwaffe Pilot Observer Badge mounted to the breast. The jacket displays beautifully, with the blue-gray color remaining strong, the buttons intact, and the stitching throughout the body, collar, insignia, pockets, and sleeve remaining highly presentable. The cloth breast eagle, Pilot Observer Badge, collar tabs, shoulder boards, and chevron all give this piece a complete and visually compelling appearance.

The Fliegerbluse was one of the most recognizable Luftwaffe service garments of the Second World War. This style of practical air force blouse was designed for service wear and became closely associated with Luftwaffe personnel across flying, technical, and field branches.
