German WW2 Customs Officer visor cap (Schirmmütze) with Heer-style insignia, maker marked Carl Isken, Köln. The cap shows light moth nips to the crown but remains otherwise intact.
Constructed in field gray worsted wool, it features a forest green center band with matching Waldgrün piping along the crown edge and band, consistent with Customs Service issue. The cap retains its high forward crown, vulcanfibre visor, pressed paper faux leather sweatband, and yellow rayon lining. The front displays a detailed silvered aluminum Customs eagle with outstretched wings, set above a wreathed swastika, along with a silvered acanthus leaf wreath and tri-color cockade with red felt center. A dark green braided chin cord is secured by pebbled aluminum side buttons.
