This authentic German WWII Reichspost vehicle trolley eagle is a large-format and genuinely scarce example of Third Reich civil-service insignia. Reichspost eagles were mounted on postal service vehicles and trolleys rather than railway or military equipment, resulting in significantly lower production numbers. This example measures approximately 15 3/4 inches in wingspan with a height of approximately 10 inches, making it an impressive and commanding display piece. The reverse is marked “V,” a period marking consistent with wartime manufacture.

Reichspost (DRP) eagles differ notably from Reichsbahn (DRB) eagles in both form and intended use. While Reichsbahn eagles are encountered with some regularity, Reichspost vehicle eagles are far more difficult to source, as many were removed, scrapped, or destroyed following the collapse of Nazi Germany.
