German WW2 Veteran Collection with rare Kyffhäuserbund Senior Officer Armband, Soldier Photo, and signed Award Document

Kyffhäuserbund Senior Officer Armband (specifically the Deutscher Reichskriegerbund, a German war veterans' association nazified and integrated during the Third Reich era, c. 1935–1938) - a black wool and felt armband featuring a shield-shaped Bevo-woven emblem with the Kyffhäuser Monument silhouette over a swastika, with a gold metallic bullion braid (tresse) running the length of the armband to designate officer. The emblem combines the historic Kyffhäuser Monument imagery with the political symbols mandated after the National Socialist regime took control of veteran leagues. Officer armbands are much rarer than enlisted armbands!
