The reverse shows correct construction with intact prong bar and catch, and the buckle remains structurally sound.

The Allgemeine-SS originated in the early 1920s and evolved alongside the Nazi Party’s rise to power, eventually becoming distinct from the SA with its own uniforms and insignia. SS belt buckles were subject to strict RZM oversight beginning in 1934, ensuring standardized design and quality control until Waffen-SS production became independent in 1943.
