The print features a portrait of a tankman. Dated 1943 in the lower left (hidden by frame). Measures 23 1/8” wide by 32 5/8" tall. The front shows a Waffen SS soldier wearing his Panzer wrapper & SS beret with a tank in the background. The top reads ‘SS Panzer Divizion. There is a skull and cross bone shield in the upper right-hand corner. The base reads ‘Totenkopf’. The bottom left hand corner is marked ‘SS D. Pz. / 1943. (ofs.) 3489’ (hidden by frame). Condition - Excellent for it’s age, but shows signs of folding in half for storage. A very rare and desirable period SS poster.
