This is an exquisite ancient Greek coin set in a luxurious 18KT gold and diamond pendant.

Historical Context
The coin is a silver stater from Leucas, an ancient city of Greece. The obverse depicts Pegasus flying left—symbol of divine inspiration—while the reverse shows the head of Athena wearing a Corinthian helmet, symbolizing wisdom and warfare. These coins circulated in the 5th–4th centuries BC, and Pegasus was strongly associated with the city of Corinth and its colonies, including Leucas.
