This authentic Italian WWII MVSN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale) fighting knife is a scarce and highly desirable example, complete with its original M.V.S.N.-marked sheath featuring the rare belt loop configuration. Measuring approximately 13 inches overall with an 8-inch blade, this knife was carried by members of Mussolini’s Blackshirt militia during the Second World War.
The knife exhibits period-correct construction and proportions consistent with MVSN-issued or privately purchased fighting knives used by Fascist paramilitary forces. The presence of the correct MVSN sheath, especially with the belt loop intact, significantly enhances both rarity and collector value, as these scabbards are frequently missing or replaced.
