This is an original WWII Italian Youth Militia MVSN ZONA IV Badge, associated with the Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale (MVSN), commonly known as the Camicie Nere or “Blackshirts.” Badges of this type were used to denote organizational affiliation and regional assignment within Fascist youth and militia structures during the Second World War period.
The badge features dark blue enamel over a gilded brass base, centered with a bold raised eagle and gladius (short sword), both long-standing symbols adopted by the Fascist regime to evoke Roman martial tradition and authority. The inscription “ZONA IV” identifies the 4th Zone of the organization, while “CC.NN” stands for Camicie Nere, directly referencing the Blackshirt militia. Mounting holes remain intact, indicating proper original attachment. This badge represents a solid and historically relevant example of Italian WWII-era Fascist insignia, well suited for collectors of Axis youth and Italian Fascist memorabilia.
