This is a one of a kind collectible meteorite with a fascinating provenance and connection to the famed Bondoc meteorite expedition. This specimen comes from the renowned Canyon Diablo impact site near Meteor Crater, Arizona. Weighing 1356.3g (2.99 lbs), this Nickel-Iron Coarse Octahedrite is presented intact on a custom wired acrylic base with a clear protective cover, exactly as preserved in the estate.

Collected from the estate of John A. Lednicky—a key figure in meteorite history—this piece includes a 1999 Associated Press article referencing the crater. Lednicky famously led the recovery of the Bondoc meteorite, the largest recovered in the Philippines, now housed at Arizona State University’s Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies.
