Viet-Cong battle flag captured in July 1972, by US Special Forces Detachment SFOD-A512, Force Armee Nationale Khmer (FANK), out of Special Forces Camp B-51 at Dong Ba Thin, Republic of Vietnam. In July 1972, A-512 was on a joint US Special Forces/Australian and SAS Operation with the 263rd Cambodian Battalion, in Northeastern Khanh Hoa Province. This flag was found on the wall in a reinforced tunnel/bunker, that was captured by the Reconnaissance Platoon of the 263rd, led by members of Detachment A-512.
