A Model 1937 Polish Air Force Pilot’s Dagger, featuring an elegant floral pattern on the blade and the Polish Eagle emblem on the hilt. The blade bears the inscription "Honor i Ojczyzna" (Honor and Fatherland), a patriotic motto reflecting Poland’s national spirit. The tip remains exceptionally sharp, with no chipping or damage to the edges. The dagger’s hilt is a rich, dark brown. The dagger even comes complete with its original hangers.
Issued to officers in the Polish Air Force and armored units, the Model 1937 dagger was a symbol of prestige and service. Poland’s military faced overwhelming odds during the 1939 German invasion, leading to the exile of Polish forces to Britain, where they played a vital role in the war effort. This dagger is a testament to the bravery of Polish officers before and during WW2.
