This is a one of a kind collectible—an original pair of WWII-era German SA Standartenführer collar tabs, worn by a senior officer in the Sturmabteilung (SA), the Nazi Party’s early paramilitary wing. These rare tabs are crafted from high-quality black wool with a silver-washed oak-leaf insignia and silver wire piping, mounted on a coarse tan buckram base. The detail and construction reflect the precision of Third Reich regalia at the officer level.

History
Standartenführer was a high-ranking SA officer title, equivalent to a regimental commander. These tabs, used during the early Nazi era, showcase authority, elite status, and the structured symbolism within Hitler’s paramilitary ranks. With their striking oak-leaf motif and preserved design, they represent an important part of WWII military hierarchy and symbolism.

Provenance: The Late Clyde Davis Collection - as seen in Military Advisor Magazine 2024 – Clyde R. Davis was an avid German WW2 Collector specializing in Hitler Youth memorabilia.
