A WW2 German Elite EM (Enlisted Man) M43 Panzer SS Field Hat, constructed from thick, dark wool and showing period wear and age-related fading. This cap features a double-button front closure and retains its original design elements. The M43 field cap was introduced in 1943 as an improvement over earlier SS Tank unite models, designed for both combat and general field use.
Panzer SS caps were issued in black wool, distinguishing them from standard Heer field caps. The Panzer SS, part of the Waffen-SS, played a significant role in armored warfare during World War II and commanded some of the most feared machines of the war.
