This is a 17th–18th century Tibetan-Bhutanese dagger featuring a finely crafted Damascus steel blade and a richly embellished gilt pommel. The blade showcases the layered patterning typical of traditional Damascus steel, known for its durability and aesthetic beauty. The textured grip remains intact, offering a sense of both function and craftsmanship. Although the sheath shows considerable wear and is in salty condition, traces of its original elegance still echo the quality of the weapon.

Daggers of this kind were used in Tibetan and Bhutanese cultures by monks, warriors, and nobility, often as ceremonial and protective tools.
