We are pleased to offer this vintage railroad brass conductor’s keyring with nine keys, marked Adlake and dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The brass keyring and grouped railroad keys create a classic and highly displayable antique train collectible. Adlake-marked railroad hardware is especially desirable among collectors, and a complete ring with multiple keys has excellent visual and historical appeal.

Railroad keys were essential working tools for conductors, brakemen, station staff, switchmen, and other railroad personnel, used for locks, switches, signal boxes, cabooses, and related railway equipment. Adlake, short for Adams & Westlake, became one of the most recognized names in railroad hardware, producing lanterns, locks, keys, and related equipment used across American rail systems. A keyring like this speaks directly to the working life of railroad employees during the height of American rail travel and freight movement.

This is a wonderful railroad collectible with the right combination of material, maker, and presentation. The brass ring, nine Adlake-marked keys, and late 19th to early 20th century dating make it an excellent lot for collectors of railroadiana, antique keys, transportation history, and American industrial artifacts.
