Imperial German Model 1915 n/A Kugelhandgranate, a standard fragmentation hand grenade utilized during the First World War. The grenade features a spherical cast iron body with a deeply patterned external fragmentation grid intended to disperse shrapnel upon detonation.
The upper section retains its friction-pull fuse assembly with visible side vent hole and twisted wire pull ring. The underside of the body displays a circular indentation from the original casting and filling process. No visible manufacturer marks or date stamps are present due to oxidation and age.
