Sid Sings is the posthumous solo debut LP by Sid Vicious, released in 1979 by Virgin Records. Recorded live at Max’s Kansas City in New York City during September 1978, the album captures Vicious's raw, chaotic punk energy. The tracklist features covers of classic rock and proto-punk songs, including “My Way,” “Something Else,” and “Take a Chance on Me,” alongside his own composition, “Belsen Was a Gas,” the only known solo version of a Sex Pistols song by Vicious. The album's production is lo-fi, reflecting the punk ethos of the time.
