An exceptional example of WWII-era U.S. Army-issued binoculars manufactured by Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. This stereo prism binocular set retains its original leather neck strap and is housed in a sturdy brown leather case that includes an integrated compass mounted to the lid. The case also contains instructions for use and is equipped with a shoulder strap for carry. Optical clarity is preserved, and all mechanical functions operate properly.
Bausch & Lomb was one of the key suppliers of precision optical equipment for the U.S. military during the war. These binoculars were used for reconnaissance, artillery spotting, and battlefield navigation, offering high clarity and rugged reliability.
